What to Ask Facilities That Have Batting Cages

§ September 1st, 2011 § Filed under General, Home & Garden § Tagged , , § No Comments

When looking for a facility that offers batting cages, you will also want to check out the set speeds of the pitching machines. Make sure that there are speeds set for the type of game the player participates in, whether it is girl’s fast pitch, men’s slow pitch, or any other speed that may be appropriate. This is particularly important when dealing with younger players, especially if they are new to the game or if they have just entered a higher level of play. For older and more experienced players, the speed is important, although the variation of speed can also help them to face different pitchers and pitches. No matter what, stepping into a batting cage can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing, so it is imperative to be protected. Wearing a helmet is mandatory to avoid any injury to the head by a ball.

Why I Need To Buy Insurance For My Dog

§ July 11th, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § Tagged , , § No Comments

One thing that I need to do is get dog insurance for my dog. I have wanted to do that for a long time now, but I really need to get on that before something happens to my dog. I do not want to wait until things are serious because then, there will be a really good chance that I will not be able to get dog insurance for my dog. Having this type of insurance for a pet is really essential if you want to look after your pet in the best way possible and without it costing you a small fortune when things go wrong.

After I take the kids to daycare and go to work, I am going to sit down at my desk and look online for some quotes. I will do this when things are slow. I do not think that my boss will care if I search for insurance for my dog on down time. I hope that I can get insurance at a pretty decent price. I do not want to pay through my ears. I am sure that there are good deals out there, so I gues I will just have to look hard until I find the best deal for the type of dog insurance that we need.

Second Hand Cookers Have Great Resale Value

§ May 30th, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § Tagged , , , § No Comments

For those that would love an expensive gas cooker or a dual fuel cooker but are just not able to afford it, than second hand cookers are the route you should take! You can get all the top name brand cookers at a huge discount. Just because a cooker has been used before doesn’t mean it is inferior or dirty. Yea, some might be. It actually depends upon the previous owner’s care and cleanliness. There are times I have seen used gas cookers or freestanding cookers look as good as new just because the previous owner took real pride in their kitchen appliances. I have picked up second hand cookers like this at a third of the price I would pay if it was brand new. (I pick up these cookers to resell because there is such a demand for them. If they are in good condition and look spotless inside, there resale value can be quite high.)

My Precious and Smart Son and The Broken Pet Urns

§ May 29th, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § Tagged , , , § No Comments

My son Daemeon was running through the house with his friends. They were also throwing a ball around. Of course, this ended with them knocking over the two pet urns that contained the ashes belonging to our beloved cats that died of illness.

Daemeon felt terrible for what he did and offered to use his allowance money to replace the pet urns. I allowed him to replace them with his allowance because it would teach him the value of replacing something that he breaks. I also praised him for his honesty, his uprightness, and his wanting to take the responsibility for what he had done. Most children his age would not possess that kind of emotional maturity. Daemeon is only five years old, and he is very mature for his age. He is extremely intelligent,  he can reads and speaks very well, and he is a very good kid. God has blessed me with a wonderful child. I love my son very much!

My Baby Shower Was a Hit – I got a Diaper Cake!

§ May 15th, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § Tagged , , § No Comments

My baby shower was a hit. I got lots of cool things for the baby, and so many people came. We also had great food and a great time.

The highlight of the baby shower was the diaper cake. Mary brought me one of the best diaper cakes that I have ever seen. It was so creative, and it was packed it full of all of the things that I will need to take care of my new baby girl. In the cake, she included pacifiers, travel sized baby lotion, travel sized baby powder, travel sized baby bath.  I also got several different types of bibs, baby wash clothes, and a large variety of baby toys. Mary’s diaper cake was three tier, and it was made out of disposable diapers. She also included lace, flowers, and pearls. Here, take a look:

Mary and the Toddler Bed

§ May 12th, 2011 § Filed under General, Home & Garden § Tagged , § No Comments

Mary is small and cute

Mary is small enough that she can sleep in a toddler bed. This makes things easier when she comes over to our house because when we have over nights and invite people to stay, it is easy to find a place to put her. We do not have to worry about where she will sleep, like we do when it comes to finding a place for the others.

Everyone thinks it is cute that Mary is small enough that she can fit in a toddler bed. Mary thinks it is kind of funny herself. She makes light of the situation and laughs at it quite often. Mary loves being small. She says so all of the time.

I wish I were as small as Mary. It is kind of cute. She is four feet ten inches, and she is approximately one hundred pounds. She is a small little thing. She can fit into a lot of clothes without a problem. And because she can buy kids clothes, she can get them pretty cheap.

Build Your Dream Storage Shed Today

§ May 1st, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § No Comments

A very common problem is not having enough storage for your outside equipment. This could include a lawnmower, gardening tools, etc. While some have the convenience of a third car garage, many don’t. Because of this, having a storage shed solves the major problem of not having enough room to put your stuff. We are all busy, and our time is valuable. There’s no sense in wasting it by trying to build a shed without any plans. You probably end up scratching your head, and wasting a lot of money in the process. I tell you a secret; it’s actually very simple to build one. You’re going to need to get a good set of plans before you start cutting and assembling your materials.

Once you have your storage shed plans in front of you will be holding one of your most valuable resources for this project. Those plans and blueprints are going to give you step-by-step detailed instructions on exactly what needs to be done in order to get your check completed. Use them wisely!
