If any of you live in UK, the chances are you’ve got Sky cable television. Most of you will also probably be subscribing to their movie package. What do you think of it? Here’s what I think: It’s great for the first couple of months, but then they start replaying the same movies over and over again. I’m not the type of person that buys DVDs and repeatedly watches them – once i’ve seen a movie, that’s it for me, distant memories. So i’ll tell you what i’ve done, i’ve cancelled my subscription, and i’ve started watching them online at comewatchmovies.com. It’s better than sky, becasue you can pick what you want to watch and when you want to watch it, and best of all it’s free, so if i want to watch free movies online now i’ll just log on and I’m away. Brilliant!

I’m sick of Sky TV
Friday, June 18th, 2010Who’s for Hong Kong?
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010Many people traveling to Hong Kong, either for business or pleasure, may have this preconceived opinion that Hong Kong is merely an urban land packed with a grid of skyscraping concrete towers. Contrarily, if you look hard enough, you’ll detect there are a horde of quieter, more rural hotels located out in the quieter suburbs that will cater for the family perfectly. Obviously, staying in a hotel in the suburbs means you’re farther away from the business office in the center, but Hong Kong’s excellent transportation network makes light work of getting into the CBD during rush hour.
If you ‘re looking for first class hotel accommodation in Asia then the best place to start searching may well be the ultra modern region of Hong Kong. With numerous accommodation options available (from budget to five star luxury), you will be hard pressed to find anything that comes close in terms of quality or value. Even the technology in the budget hotels in Hong Kong is something to marvel at, with high velocity lifts and ultra modernistic air-condition, irrespective of your budget, you will live in comfort.
Technology is…
Monday, June 14th, 2010Confusing! lol. I am the proud, new (1st-time) owner of an ipod and I an definitely a late bloomer where technology is concerned! I think it’s a cool little gadget and I love music (especially when I go to the gym)…but I need some guidance!
I know that you can “buy” songs from the Apple website itself, but can anyone recommend any user-friendly websites where I can purchase or “trade” albums, etc??? A friend recommended royalty free beats which had a great variety of music playlists and artist. But, I am curious if there are any websites that offer both music AND accessories for the ipod too…like different color cases, etc…
It is exciting though…I have 4 songs on my ipod so far (LOL)…let’s see how many I can get
The Joys of Auntie-hood:)
Monday, June 14th, 2010Okay, I am officially obsessed. Obsessed with my soon-to-be-born nephew Brayden, obsessed with cute little babies in general, and obsessed with online shopping for baby stuff!
It’s not difficult to find a good (not necessarily rational or responsible, but good) reason to shop online…but buying baby gifts are the best! Many of our friends are at the time in their lives where starting a family is a top priority…and so I feel like I have become an expert in throwing/attending/shopping for baby showers these past couple of years. There are many great websites for a variety of gifts, but when it came to my nephew Brayden’s baby shower, I really wanted to find a gift that was not only practical and useful, but one that was meaningful and of the highest quality. So….da-da….I found the most lovely, well-made baby crib at cherry cribs. My sister actually teared up when she saw it–it was such a beautiful crib and will be perfect for Brayden:) Now, I just want to get some tips on how to find monogrammed baby linens for the crib…if anyone knows any good websites let me know!
Can you smell the money?
Monday, June 14th, 2010You’ll see that I love baking in my last post, and that’s mainly becasue it smells so good! Want to know what I think smells better? Money! life123.org’s blog about life wouldn’t be complete if we weren’t talking about what makes the world go round. So…how do we get our hands on money? it’s a tricky one, and there are so many get rich quick schemes out there in the online world that it’s no wonder people are sceptical – noone knows who or what product to believe in.
There’s one group of lads that I know you can count on though, and they are the Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey, the mastermind’s behind Commission Blueprint, Niche Blueprint, and now, the log awaited info prodigy. Both guys remain fairly tight-lipped on what it’s actually going to do, but looking at Steve and Tim’s money-making track record, you can be that Info Prodigy is going to be a hit with a number of internet marketers out there!
I’m in!
The Joys of Baking
Monday, June 14th, 2010I love to bake and I love to blog, so what better way to enjoy my spare time than to write a blog post about baking! Baking is a popular method of cooking, and one can cook many foods using this method, including bread, pastries, quiches and biscuits to name a few!
One of the advantages of baking your products is that you don’t need to add any fat to your product in order to cook it – simply pop your item in one of the suitable bakeware pans that can be found at your local hardware store, and you’ve got yourself a delicious, home-baked and fat-free meal!
I personally feel that baked snacks taste better too, and many makers of snacks such as crisps (or potato chips) are starting to move towards to baking method of cooking instead of frying, which reduces the calorie and fat content of their products.
Give baking a go, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!
The Beauty of Bali
Monday, June 14th, 2010I’m a regular traveler, particularly around South East Asia. If anyone’s been to that part of the world before then i’m sure they’ll agree there’s some wonderful places to go and relax. Bali, Indonesia is one of them, and if you’ve got a bit of money to spend I’d thoroghly recommend staying in one of the resort hotels. So what make a good resort in Bali? well, if they’re on the beach it’s a bonus, and fortunately many of the beach resorts in bali are on the beach.
In addition to looking at the many options of resorts on the beach in Bali, try the villas. Most of the villas in Bali come with their own private pool and some even come with their own jacuzzi! Now that is my idea of relaxing!
Summer is almost here…
Monday, June 14th, 2010Hooray!!
Summer is almost here, and i just found out today that we’ll be heading over to glorious Tunisia at the end of July. I’ve never been on a holiday to Tunisia before, but i’ve heard really good things about it. Another great thing about Tunisia is that it’s not an overly popular destination (yet) so you can pick up some really great deals on a whole range of Tunisia Holidays
Go check it out anyway and see if you can steal a bargain holiday to Tunisa this summer. Enjoy!
